wo2go-mon-story-text'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Twee gedenkstenen van zwart Impala-graniet voor vier militairen omgekomen tijdens de onafhankelijkheidsoorlog in voormalig Nederlands-Indi\u00eb: Piet Hartog (1914&#8211;1943), Bram Hotting (1916&#8211;1942), Bram Kamerling (1916&#8211;1942) en Leen Vinke (1920&#8211;1943).<\/p>\n<p>De grootste steen draagt het opschrift: &#8220;Nederlands-Indi\u00eb 1945&#8211;1950, gedenk in uw gedachten dat zij hun leven gaven en ver van aanverwanten in den vreemde zijn begraven.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Het initiatief voor het monument kwam van de Vereniging Oud Militairen Indi\u00ebgangers; de uitvoering werd verzorgd door Verenigde Natuursteen Bedrijven. Het monument werd onthuld door burgemeester A.J.C. van Pelt, samen met A.
