hij had vijf jongere broers en zussen. Omwonenden noemden hem destijds &#8220;anti-Duits gezind&#8221;, maar aan de gedwongen tewerkstelling in het kader van de Arbeitseinsatz kon hij zich niet onttrekken: medio 1943 moest hij naar Duitsland vertrekken, naar de omgeving van Kassel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Kassel werkte Johannes als bankwerker bij de fabriek Henschel &#038; Sohn, een bekende werkgever van dwangarbeiders. Wie zich niet meldde, riskeerde zware sancties voor zichzelf of zijn familie. Ook Johannes van Binsbergen werd op deze manier naar Duitsland gestuurd en kwam terecht bij Henschel &#038; Sohn in Kassel, waar hij op 10 november 1943 aan ziekte
