is een term die zijn ontstaan kent in het laatste jaar van de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De kreet werd vaak gebruikt door de bestuurders van de militaire voertuigen, die zorgden voor de aanvoer van voedsel, munitie, brandstof en andere goederen naar het front. Het rijdend houden van deze gigantische colonne was een zeer belangrijke schakel in de strijd die uiteindelijk leidde tot de bevrijding van ons land en de rest van Europa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Na het einde van de oorlog kregen deze militaire voertuigen vaak een andere bestemming en werden ze gebruikt in de transport- en bouwsector, maar zelfs de slager of de bakker bezorgde zijn waar met een opgekochte Jeep! Zo hielpen de legervoertuigen uiteindelijk na de oorlog ook weer mee aan de opbouw van het land.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ondanks dat de meeste van deze voertuigen naar verloop van tijd werden vervangen door moderner materiaal, zijn er nog vele exemplaren bewaard gebleven. Dit dankzij de passie van particuliere liefhebbers die deze voertuigen opkochten en restaureerden in hun schuur of garage. Hieruit is uiteindelijk ook in 1972 de vereniging &#8216;Keep them rolling!&#8217; ontstaan die als doel heeft om gezamenlijk \u00a0met de leden een rijdend museum te vormen en zo de herinnering aan Hoe dat er uit gaat zien blijft nog even een verrassing! Verder zal er rond het fort een kamp opgericht zijn, waar de militaire voertuigen opgesteld staan en de eigenaren gepassioneerd over hun hobby vertellen.
